A Story to Share: Butterflies & Well-Being
This thought was shared by a mother whose daughter has a severe disability on DaAi TV of the Tzu Chi Foundation.
In our lives we chase and try to grasp well-being and happiness. Well-being and happiness are just like butterflies. The harder we chase; the farther they fly away. Even we are able to catch them, they may die in our hands, like well-being that has disappeared.
Why not cultivate the seeds of love in our hearts, let seeds grow, and bloom to create many beautiful and blossoming flowers in the gardens of our hearts. Then butterflies would come, stay, and dance in our gardens. Well-being will be always full in our hearts; there is no longer any need to chase it!
